Alpha takes you on a journey of discovery, freely exploring the basics of the Christian faith over a series of interactive sessions. It gives you the opportunity to discuss the big questions in life. 

Each evening session starts with supper and an engaging short talk and ends with a discussion over coffee where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge. Can't say fairer than that, right?
 

Alpha welcomes people from all walks of life backgrounds, ages, beliefs and world views.

Curious about Christianity and what this church stuff is all about? Never really understood the Christian faith or been to church much, if at all? Are you an atheist or not sure what you believe? Or maybe you gave up on church a long time ago or are relatively new to faith.

Alpha runs here at SMB over 10 consecutive weeks from 7.30pm - 10pm. There is also a one-day Saturday away session during each course. Details of this will be given to those who join us.
